Yet Another LOTP Tragedy

ENTROPIA (Peepers) - Another horrible mass-tragedy has befallen the peeps behind the production of The Lord of the Peeps: The Fellowship of the Peep, causing rumors of a 'film curse' to circulate.

Though warnings of Thursday's hurricane were everywhere, a group of young bunny peep extras chose to disregard the danger, with terrible results. Two days later, the remains of five of the missing seven have been found. Rescue personnel fear that the other two may never be located. A herd of ten peeps were also washed away by the storm; so far, only two bodies have been found.

It was clear that even emergency re-sugaring would not save any of the victims. "It's terrible, just terrible," one of the rescue and recovery peeps told us. "They were all so sweet, and now gone, just like that. It's a curse, I tell you."

This curse theory is supported by others, who point to similar circumstances surrounding the filming of such movies as Gone With the Peep and Peep Wars. Some of the crew have even quit their jobs after this latest tragedy. "I'm not so desperate for a chance as that. I'd rather sit on a shelf for a while than face that risk."
